St Mary's Parish, also known as Our Lady Help of Christians, has been a cornerstone of the Catholic faith in Opotiki since 1841. We are part of the Catholic Diocese of Hamilton and continue the missionary work that began with Bishop Pompallier's historic visit to our shores.
